These are the first pictures and details of a hardcore version of the Lexus LFA.
The car has been called the Lexus LFA Special Edition and has been developed at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany.

Power from its 552bhp 4.8-litre V10 engine has been increased by 10bhp thanks to a reworked exhaust system and tweaks to its ECU. It also gets a recalibrated transmission, which cuts shift speeds from 0.2secs to 0.15secs.
Visual changes on the track-focused LFA include a larger fixed rear wing and a new front splitter. Mechanical upgrades include a stiffer suspension system with increased adjustability and new lightweight alloys featuring semi-slick tyres.
It will be available in four colours - Black, Matte Black, Whitest White and Orange.
It is not yet clear whether the Special Edition LFAs will be included in the car’s limited production run of 500 units or whether it will be considered a unique model in its own right.
